What is the SBP Broadcast About

An Evangelical and Apostolic Ministry dedicated to exalting Jesus Christ as Lord and proclaiming the gospel message of Jesus Christ. Our leadership ministry aims to achieve the following:

1. Teach sound doctrine: We will impart biblical principles and teachings that are accurate and reliable.
2. Apologetics: We will defend the gospel through evidence and rightly dividing the word of God
3. Expository preaching: We will give explanations in making full proof in a clear and understandable manner.
4. Leadership development: We will provide leadership guidance and using your gift in the church to glorify God while edifying others.
5. Theological study: We will set in order spiritual and doctrinal principles based on our understanding of God and our Lord Jesus Christ within the confines of God’s word.
6. Our purpose is to provide expository and comprehensible Christian biblical principles that encourage church unity and oneness.
7. On the SBP Broadcast we advocate for the traditional family institution, as designed by God, and strive to encounter and preserve the Church of God. We will admonish followers of Christ to be wise, righteous, and teach sound doctrine, and we will denounce and uncover any instances of church doctrinal misconduct.

About the Author

Prof. Douglas C. Stewart, a Professor of the Biblical Studies program at the Covenant Bible Seminary in Lakewood, Washington, earned his Master of Divinity degree from the Seminary in June 2001. He completed the Doctor of Ministry degree program in June 2005. Prior to his seminary studies, Prof. Stewart completed his undergraduate education at the University of Saint Martin’s and earned a Master of Science in International Relations from Troy University. 

He has been actively involved in Christian leadership ministries for several years, working with both mainstream denominations and nondenominational congregations of assemblies since 1983. In 1990, he was ordained as an elder. Douglas hosted the Mega Ministers and Blended Family Conference in June 2014, titled “Align Yourself for Jesus,” and the 360 Family Ministries Conference in June 2015, titled “Manifest Yourself to God,” at Life Center Church in Tacoma, Washington. These events led to the establishment of an official nonprofit institution called “360 Family Ministries,” where he served as the director and president. 360 Family Ministries is a leading family ministry that addresses family issues and cultural shifts impacting both church and family institutions. Douglas’s focus and vision are on restoring the modern traditional family, Christian ethics, and church leadership.

He has self-published three other books, primarily for classroom study and resources for students at the Seminary. He completed a study on the book of Daniel “Unveiling Daniel on the Grand Chessboard” A Sovereign Fight of Faith, with PowerPoint slideshows to accommodate each chapter of the book of Daniel. This is an amazing study of truth, challenges, and a study that will enhance any Christian ministry. A study of Pastoral Epistles, “The Bishop of Pastoral Epistles” was done as an additional resource manual for students. The publishing of “Today’s Christian Ministries in Leadership” a focus on Christian Ethics and Leadership, it is an extract from “The Mega Pastor”, condensed and used as a workbook in the classroom. These books are highly respected and regarded by many students at the Seminary. Great comments were written by these students. Another work and study have been completed by Douglas but has not been published. The title, “The World’s Discontent” a study of the Old Testament books of Ezra, Nehemiah, and Esther.

The Biblical Production Ministry “SBP Broadcast” was introduced on Facebook during the 2020 pandemic. This private page serves as a weekly gathering place for members to receive God’s word for the Church and other Biblical studies in these challenging times. Douglas has hosted several programs and has been a leading speaker at various Biblical Conferences, Summits, and Christian Revivals. In 2005, he established the Faith Base Community Initiative program for youth, aiming to help teens achieve their educational goals by providing college planning workshops and educational seminars. 

Douglas Stewart’s work and ministry continue to center around the eternal life offered through Christ Jesus, our Lord. His focus extends to leadership and family ministries, aiming to foster growth among all Christians worldwide.
